Early Embrace

Occupational Therapy & Speech Pathology services.

Gentle, relationship-focused therapy and parenting support for children aged 0-5 years in Geelong.

About Us

At Early Embrace, we support families during the early years of childhood when the foundations for connection, communication, and development are first being laid.

Grounded in attachment and co-regulation, our gentle, relationship-focused approach helps caregivers feel confident, connected, and supported.

Our experienced allied health team provides Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology in Geelong and surrounding areas, supporting children’s sensory, emotional, communication, feeding, sleep, play and self-care needs. We tailor our support to meet the unique needs of each family, always keeping relationships at the heart of what we do.

We provide mobile therapy in your home, childcare, or kindergarten, and welcome both NDIS participants and privately paying families.

Our Services

Our services are provided in your child's home, kinder and childcare.

Co-regulation and Behaviour Support

We help parents and children build strong, connected relationships. Many families come to us with concerns about meltdowns, big emotions, or long periods of crying. We support parents to understand their child’s behaviour and emotions and how to respond with confidence.

Our relationship-focused therapies strengthen attachment, teach parents how to co-regulate with their baby or toddler, and create a safe space where all feelings can be expressed without judgement.

Feeding Therapy

Working with you and your child, we use a collaborative feeding approach to assist with breastfeeding positions and latch support, bottle feeding, suck training, transition to solids, tongue and lip tie assessment including pre & post-operation care and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.

Speech Pathology services are currently paused while Tamika is on maternity leave and will return in 2026.

Communication and Early Language Development

We target early communication development by using routines-based approaches to assist you to embed language strategies into your daily routine. We empower you to ensure that you feel confident in supporting your child’s language development.

Speech Pathology services are currently paused while Tamika is on maternity leave and will return in 2026.

Sleep Support for Infant and Toddlers

We support families through the many stages of sleep from settling infants to navigating toddler sleep challenges. We support you and your child with sleep in a way that nurtures emotional connection and security. Our holistic approach keeps the needs of the whole family in mind. Together, we’ll explore practical, caring sleep strategies while offering gentle, responsive alternatives to sleep training.

Early Parenting Support

Bringing home a new baby is a special time, but it can also feel overwhelming. We support you as you settle into life with your baby, helping you build routines, strengthen your bond, understand your baby’s cues, and feel confident with feeding, sleep, play, and everyday care. We also focus on your self-care and wellbeing, giving you strategies to look after yourself so you can feel supported, balanced, and confident in your parenting journey.

Infant Massage

Learn how to massage your baby in your home or in a small group. Massage supports bonding, reduces stress, and can ease sleep, digestion, and postnatal anxiety. It also promotes healthy development and weight gain in preterm babies.

Early Play Skills & Social Development

Play is how children explore relationships, learn to problem solve, foster creativity and imagination, develop coordination, and grow in confidence. We use fun, play-based therapy to support your child’s development, honouring neurodivergent communication styles and partnering with parents to make play both therapeutic and connection-focused. By working alongside families, daycare, and kindergarten staff, we help children form friendships and feel confident to thrive in their everyday environments.

Self Care Skills and Daily Routines

We provide support to help children build confidence and independence in self-care skills such as toileting, dressing, and bathing. Considering your child’s abilities, sensory needs, and developmental stage, we provide practical strategies to make daily routines easier and more successful.
